Ladies,

The books are now closed for the Dues for 2012 until January when National reopens for processing. You all must change your amounts that MUST be transmitted for dues as of now.

$5.00 National Dues
$2.75 Department Dues
$2.00 Cancer
$9.75 Per Member now required.

Anyone sending in dues that are not in that amount will have them returned for compliance. There is no change to Life Membership dues. What is on the Life Membership Transmittal (new paperwork) is the amount for this year.

PLEASE everyone use the new forms that were provided earlier this year for processing. It gets very confusing to everyone when they come in some on old, some on new. USE THE NEW. That include the Membership Summary. If you cannot find your copy of the forms please let me know and I will mail you one copy. You are now to make your own copies as National Headquarters has gone Green and will no longer provide forms.

You must also read out your Monthly Reports and record on your master roster.

I will be at Mid-Winter in Casper to answer all your questions to the best of my ability. I will tell you that I have to check my disk and paperwork to make sure I comply just as you must do.

To help out some Auxiliaries. You only need to send me one check for all your amounts. Include a piece of paper with the check number, Auxiliary number and the breakdown of what that money is for if you have more than your dues. Some are sending in checks for each line item and that is a waste of your check costs as well as more to process to the bank on Department deposits. LEts all save costs where we can.

Postage goes up in January--consider getting Forever Stamps that will be good forever.

I input all new members when I receive proper paperwork. You can get their Membership Number by running an inquiry. If I am not to busy I will send the
number by E-mail.

Ladies-

THANK YOU, FOR “STEPPING UP TO THE BAT IN AUGUST” WE MADED OUR 60%.

And here it is September and we need to be 70% by the end of September. But our Treasurer is going to be on vacation starting September 23rd, so we need to have our dues turned in by September 20th , so let’s get out there and get those dues turned in ASAP, so that Ruth may have a relaxing vacation. (Which she so richly deserves.) We are sitting at 63.09 % as of this email, (September 9th) we need 208 more members in order to receive the Award for September.

I know we are all very business but we need these numbers in order for "Our Veterans to get their Entitlements" they so richly deserve.

Also, Ladies it is time to start planning your Membership Campaign to the 2011-2012 . Remember to order your Fact Sheets from National and always have a membership application with you.

Just a reminder you need to get your District Dues paid by September 30th, this is based on you June 30, 2011 Membership.

Dear Auxiliary Sisters,

First of all I would like to “Thank” Cheryl for allowing me to be her Membership Chairman for 2011-2012. Most of you know me, but for you that don’t, I am a member of LAVFW Post 2281 in Thermopolis. My eligibility is through my late husband, Jerry Kobielusz a Viet Nam Veteran. Now I’m married to the “Wildman” Joe. Joe and I enjoy riding our motorcycle and traveling around the country. I have two grown sons and their families that live in Gillette and four stepchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

I have worked for Merit Energy Company for the last 15 years, as a Senior Administrative Office Assistant (that just means you do a little bit of everything). Merit Energy is an Oil and Gas Producer.

Wow, it hard to believe that another year has passed and it time to start a year Membership year. It is so important for our organization to maintain our Membership numbers so that we have a strong voice when it comes to our Veterans Entitlements and Benefits, let “LEAVE NO VETERAN AND THEIR FAMILIES BEHIND”. So ladies get out there and get your members to get their dues paid as early as possible so that we can to a 100%. I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE.

I look forward to working with each of the Auxiliaries, if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you with Membership or anything else, (remember we are all a “TEAM”. Please feel free to give me a call as all of us are here for “Our Veterans”. I will be sending out my updates on a monthly basis some of them will be coming as emails as we need to stay on top of our Membership numbers.
